Why I Begin With a Full Session

Therapy is a relationship; its quality shapes the work as much as the method.

I begin with a full session so we have time to explore what’s bringing you in, get to know each other, and begin the work together. This first meeting also gives us a chance to sense whether the connection and approach feel supportive.

If we decide to continue, the session simply becomes your first therapy appointment. If it turns out we’re not the right fit, I’m happy to offer that meeting as a complimentary consultation.
